We had a wonderful stay at the Brit Hotel in Bergerac. It’s very conveniently located in a quiet street within 5 mins walk from the centre. Everything was spotlessly clean throughout the hotel, and the bed was comfy with quality sheets which made for a great night’s sleep, along with the air con which was very much needed due to the heatwave.

The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Although we didn’t get the chance to use the pool this time, it was also impeccably clean and looked very inviting.

What impressed us most, however, was how genuinely friendly and helpful all the staff were. A special mention goes to the lady who checked us in — nothing was too much trouble for her, and she made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived.
We would happily stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bergerac.

The hotel is in a fantastic location. The pool area was beautiful and we all enjoyed the pool. Really friendly staff thrpughout, which always makes a good impression. We will return as Bergerac is stunning.

Really loved Bergerac. The hotel was very near so it was easy to walk to everything. The parking was safe, secure and cheap. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel good comfortable rooms the staff were very friendly and helpful. This is notice other brit hotels we have stayed at which are quite modern don't be put off by the appearance it's a great hotel although it's in a run down area off the main centre

We stayed one night before catching a plane. Receptionist very helpful, even carried my bag upstairs ( i am in my late seventies)

1. Calculating the Overall Rating

Each review is rated on a scale of 1 to 5. The overall rating displayed on our website is the average of all ratings received.

Each rating is based on criteria common to all establishments in the network:

  • The Room
  • The Reception
  • The Bathroom
  • Breakfast
  • Access to the Hotel

Some establishments also have specific criteria based on their services: restaurant, wellness area, etc.
For each review, we add up the ratings assigned to each criterion, then divide this total by the number of criteria evaluated to generate the establishment's overall rating.

2. Certified Reviews

Only guests who have actually stayed at the establishment receive an invitation to share their experience. This approach guarantees that 100% of the reviews published are authentic. Reviews are collected via the Customer Alliance platform and transmitted in their entirety to our website.

3. Publication and Moderation of Reviews

We strive to publish all reviews, whether positive or negative. However, some reviews cannot be displayed, particularly those containing:
